The art of Masking is our art,
an art of expressing and expressing ourselves,
of revealing and communicating.
We mask the body, the voice, matter, space;
we mask what moves to reveal Movement.
The ATELIER Mask Movement Theatre is an international theatre center, conceived and directed by Matteo Destro based in Tuscany, Italy.
The objective of the Atelier is to offer a space of creative inquiry for artists interested in expanding their creative and performative tools as actor, director, playwright and wishing to further their knowledge of Mask and Movement Based Theatre.
